Week #9: Hubspot Persona


A buyer persona assists in helping sellers understand their buyer’s wants and needs better. The persona embodies actual research based on real existing customers. It is important for sellers to understand their buyer's needs because not only does it help to fulfill the buyer's desires, it also helps the company organize and revitalize their management systems. Creating a buyer persona can ensure manpower is being evenly distributed in the entire business.
           
Learning about customers is essential because their goals and traits help shape your company’s design and strategies that will eventually be aimed at gaining more customers. The the following information is based on a persona I built showing the basic needs of my customer whilst also encompassing who they are:
Name: Marketing Mary
Age: 18-24 years old
Highest Level of Education: Bachelors Degree
Industry: Marketing Industry
Self-Employed
Job Title: influencer
How is the job measured: Engagement on social media
Who do they report to: themselves
Goals: Get a lot of engagement
Biggest Challenges: Collaboration and Creativity
Tools they need: Content Management Systems
How do they gain information on their job: Attend influencer events

Through this basic set of information, sellers should be able to understand what the client needs in order to be successful. As a seller, I would gather this information and try to put together a plan for my seller that will assist them in content management issues along with creativity and collaboration. Assisting my client with networking would be helpful to their brand.
